The 2021 Château Fonplégade belongs to the elegant and modern wines of Saint-Émilion. The estate is known for its refined style in which ripe fruit, fraîche and structure come together perfectly. The 2021 vintage produced fresh and refined Bordeaux wines with wonderful balance and elegance.
In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby color. The nose is refined and complex with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, violet, cocoa, cedar and subtle spices. In the mouth elegant and harmonious, with silky tannins, lively fraîcheur and a long refined finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Perfect with red meat, lamb dishes, game or aged hard cheeses.
