The 2020 Château Fonplégade is among the elegant and modern wines of Saint-Émilion. The estate is known for its refined style in which ripe fruit, fraîche and structure come together perfectly. The exceptional 2020 vintage produced rich and concentrated wines with impressive ageing potential.
In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby color. The nose is intense and refined with aromas of blackcurrants, plums, violets, cocoa, cedar and subtle spices. In the mouth rich and harmonious, with silky tannins, lively fraîcheur and a long elegant finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Perfect with red meat, lamb dishes, game or aged hard cheeses.
Château Fonplégade belongs to the historic Grand Cru domains of Saint-Émilion and is known for its elegant style. The 2020 vintage combines modern concentration with classic Bordeaux finesse and excellent aging potential.
