The 2016 Château Branas Grand Poujeaux is among the impressive modern Bordeaux wines of Moulis-en-Médoc. The estate is known for its concentrated style that perfectly combines ripe fruit, structure and elegance. The exceptional 2016 vintage produced wines with tremendous precision and storage potential.
In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby color. The nose is intense and complex with aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, plum, cocoa, cedar and subtle spices. In the mouth rich and harmonious, with velvety tannins, lively fraîcheur and a long elegant finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Perfect with red meat, game dishes, grilled entrecote or aged hard cheeses.
