The 2019 vintage is celebrated for its exceptional balance, aromatic intensity, and refined structure. The long growing season produced perfectly ripe grapes with great concentration and freshness. The wine develops impressive complexity and has exceptional aging potential.
The wine opens with aromas of cassis, black cherries, blueberries, violets, graphite, cedar, dark chocolate, espresso, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is rich and velvety smooth with perfectly integrated tannins, lively acidity, and an exceptionally long, mineral finish.
An Original Wooden Case (OWC6) provides optimal protection for the bottles during transport and long-term storage. For Opus One, an original wooden case also enhances its collectible value, authenticity, and appeal on the international wine market.
Serve at 16–18°C and decant the wine about two hours in advance. Delicious with grilled beef, lamb, game, veal, truffle dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
