The 2018 vintage is considered one of the most well-rounded recent vintages. Thanks to a long and consistent growing season, the grapes developed exceptional aromatic intensity, perfectly ripe tannins, and impressive freshness. The wine opens with aromas of cassis, black cherries, blueberries, violets, graphite, cedar, dark chocolate, espresso, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is powerful yet refined, with velvety-smooth tannins, lively freshness, and an exceptionally long, mineral finish.
