The 2018 Château Branaire-Ducru is among the impressive modern Bordeaux wines of Saint-Julien. The estate is known for its elegant style that perfectly combines power, precision and freshness. The 2018 vintage brought forth concentrated and perfectly balanced wines with enormous storage potential.
In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby color. The nose is intense and refined with aromas of cassis, blackcurrant, cedar, graphite, cigar box and subtle spices. In the mouth rich and harmonious, with silky tannins, lively fraîcheur and an exceptionally long finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Perfect with grilled red meat, lamb dishes, game or aged hard cheeses.
2018 is considered an excellent Bordeaux year with rich, concentrated and elegant wines. Château Branaire-Ducru created a Saint-Julien with impressive precision, finesse and aging potential.
