The 2016 Château Branaire-Ducru is among the absolute top wines of Saint-Julien in an exceptional Bordeaux vintage. The estate is known for its elegant and refined style in which power, freshness and precision come together perfectly.
In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby color. The nose is intense and refined with aromas of cassis, blackcurrant, cedar, graphite, cigar box and subtle spices. In the mouth powerful but perfectly balanced, with silky tannins, lively fraîcheur and an exceptionally long finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Perfect with grilled red meat, lamb dishes, game or aged hard cheeses.
