The 2017 Quinta do Crasto Vintage Port is among the impressive vintage ports of the modern Douro. Known for its quality-oriented approach, Quinta do Crasto created a wine with intense fruit expression, structure and exceptional ageing potential in the iconic 2017 vintage.
In the glass, this port shows a deep, almost opaque ruby color. The nose is intense and complex with aromas of blackcurrants, plums, violets, cocoa and subtle spices. In the mouth rich and powerful, with impressive concentration, silky tannins and an exceptionally long finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Ideal with blue-veined cheeses, chocolate desserts or as an exclusive finale to a dinner party.
2017 is considered one of the greatest modern vintage years in the Douro. Quinta do Crasto created a monumental vintage port with enormous depth, elegance and storage potential that will continue to develop beautifully for decades to come.
