The 2012 Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine Père et Fils Corton Les Perrières Grand Cru is a magnificent expression of Pinot Noir from one of the most renowned Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine Père et Fils is one of the historic producers of Pernand-Vergelesses and is known for elegant, terroir-driven Burgundies with excellent aging potential.
The 2012 vintage combines ripe red fruit with refined acidity and an impressive mineral structure. Thanks to the limestone-rich soils of Corton Les Perrières, the wine develops wonderful tension and complexity, allowing it to shine both when young and after many years of bottle aging.
The wine opens with aromas of red cherries, raspberries, wild strawberries, violets, rose petals, forest floor, delicate herbs, and subtle wood notes. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious, with silky-smooth tannins, lively freshness, and a long, mineral finish.
Serve at 15–16°C and decant the wine about one hour in advance. Delicious with veal, duck, pheasant, game birds, mushrooms, truffle dishes, and aged cheeses.
The 2012 Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine Père et Fils Corton Les Perrières Grand Cru has excellent aging potential of twenty to thirty years.
