The 2009 Fonseca Vintage Port combines Fonseca's signature rich style with the elegance and freshness of the 2009 vintage. This wine offers intense fruit concentration, structure and impressive ageing potential.
In the glass, this port shows a deep ruby color. The nose is intense and refined with aromas of blackcurrants, plums, violets, dark chocolate and subtle spices. In the mouth rich and harmonious, with velvety tannins, lively acidity and an exceptionally long finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Ideal with chocolate desserts, blue cheese or as an exclusive finale to a dinner party.
