The 2000 Croft Vintage Port Magnum (1.5L) is among the great vintage ports of the 2000 vintage. Known for its refined and fruit-driven style, Croft combines intense concentration with elegance and impressive aging potential in this wine. In magnum format, this wine develops even slower and more refined.
In the glass, this port shows a deep, almost opaque ruby color. The nose is intense and complex with aromas of blackcurrants, plums, violets, dark chocolate and subtle spices. In the mouth rich and powerful, with silky tannins, lively acidity and an exceptionally long finish.
Magnum bottles allow for a slower and more elegant aging of the wine. As a result, the vintage port develops additional finesse and complexity, making the format particularly popular with collectors and investors.
