The 2011 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port Magnum (1.5L) is among the most iconic vintage ports of the modern Douro. The exceptional 2011 vintage produced powerful and perfectly balanced ports with enormous storage potential. In magnum format, this wine develops even slower and more refined.
In the glass, this port shows a deep, almost opaque ruby color. The nose is intense and complex with aromas of blackcurrants, violets, cocoa and spices. In the mouth powerful and concentrated, with firm tannins, fresh acids and an exceptionally long finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Ideal with blue-veined cheeses, chocolate desserts or as an exclusive finale to a dinner party.
2011 is considered one of the greatest vintage years of recent decades. Taylor Fladgate created a wine with tremendous concentration, elegance and aging potential. The magnum format provides a slower evolution and makes this bottle particularly sought after by collectors and investors.
