2019 Quintessa Red from Napa Valley
An iconic Bordeaux blend from the heart of Rutherford
The 2019 Quintessa Red ranks among the very best of Napa Valley. The biodynamically managed Quintessa estate produces only one red wine each year, one that fully expresses the unique terroir of Rutherford. The exceptional 2019 vintage yielded perfectly ripe grapes with impressive concentration, refined structure, and great elegance.
The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Carménère aged for approximately twenty-two months in French oak barrels. This resulted in a complex wine with deep fruit expression, refined tannins, and an exceptionally long finish. The 2019 vintage is considered one of Quintessa’s finest recent vintages.
