The 2018 Château Grand-Puy Ducasse Magnum (1.5L) is one of Pauillac’s most renowned wines. This historic estate is known for its classic style, in which power, structure, and elegance come together perfectly. In magnum format, this wine develops even more slowly and with greater refinement.
In the glass, this wine displays a deep ruby-red color. The nose is intense and refined, with aromas of cassis, black currants, graphite, cigar box, cedar, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is powerful and harmonious, with ripe tannins, lovely freshness, and a long, elegant finish.
Magnum bottles allow for a slower and more elegant aging of the wine. As a result, aromas and structure develop even more delicately, making magnums particularly popular with collectors and investors.
