The 2015 Torres Mas Borràs is one of Spain’s most prestigious Pinot Noir wines. The grapes come from the historic Mas Borràs vineyard in Penedès, where the relatively cool climate and limestone-rich soils create ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. Familia Torres is among the pioneers of quality winemaking in Spain, and with Mas Borràs, it proves that Pinot Noir can also yield exceptional results here.
The exceptional 2015 vintage produced perfectly ripe grapes with great aromatic finesse and a wonderful balance. After aging in French oak barrels, the wine develops an elegant structure, refined tannins, and impressive complexity.
The wine opens with aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, raspberries, violets, rose petals, vanilla, cedar, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is elegant and silky smooth with fresh acidity, refined tannins, and a long, mineral finish.
Serve at 15–16°C and decant the wine about thirty minutes in advance. Delicious with duck, veal, poultry, mushrooms, truffle dishes, and soft cheeses.
The 2015 Torres Mas Borràs has an aging potential of fifteen to twenty years.
