The 2007 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port is considered one of the best vintages of the 21st century. This year produced wines with exceptional balance, concentration and finesse. An absolute benchmark for modern vintage port.
In the glass, this port shows a deep, intense ruby color. The nose is complex and expressive with aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, violets and spices. On the palate, it is powerful and elegant at the same time, with fine tannins and a long, harmonious finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Ideal with blue-veined cheeses, dark chocolate desserts or as a sophisticated end to a dinner party.
The year 2007 is considered one of the greatest modern vintage years in the Douro. Taylor Fladgate produced a wine of exceptional precision and structure, which will continue to develop beautifully. This bottle is both impressive now and an excellent investment for the future.
