The 1985 Martinez Vintage Port is among the classic vintage ports of the 1980s. Known for its elegant style, Martinez created a wine in 1985 with refinement, smoothness and impressive aromatic complexity that has evolved beautifully today.
In the glass, this port shows an evolved ruby color with tawny reflections. The nose is complex and refined with aromas of dried figs, plums, walnuts, cocoa, coffee and subtle spices. On the palate elegant and harmonious, with soft tannins and a long refined finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Delicious with blue cheese, nut desserts or as an exclusive digestive wine.
