The 2018 Mauro Molino Barolo Bricco Luciani comes from the prestigious Bricco Luciani vineyard in La Morra, one of Barolo’s most highly regarded municipalities. Mauro Molino is known for his elegant and terroir-driven style, which highlights the finesse of Nebbiolo. The 2018 vintage produces a refined Barolo with great precision, fresh acidity, and impressive aromatic complexity.
After a long aging period in oak barrels, the wine develops a harmonious balance between ripe red fruit, floral notes, and spicy nuances. Thanks to its elegant structure and lively freshness, this Barolo will continue to evolve for many years to come.
The wine opens with aromas of cherries, raspberries, rose petals, violets, orange peel, tar, licorice, truffle, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is refined and powerful, with silky-smooth tannins, lively acidity, and a long, mineral finish.
Serve at 17–18°C and decant the wine about one to two hours in advance. Delicious with beef, game, lamb, truffle dishes, mushroom risotto, and aged hard cheeses.
