The 2017 Château Saint-Georges Côte Pavie is a refined Saint-Émilion Grand Cru from a historic estate on the limestone and clay slopes of Saint-Émilion. Thanks to its excellent location and meticulous winemaking, this wine combines ripe fruit, refined tannins, and a beautiful minerality. The 2017 vintage showcases a classic Bordeaux style characterized by elegance and precision.
The blend is dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc, resulting in a wine with a harmonious structure and impressive aromatic complexity. Château Saint-Georges Côte Pavie is known for its excellent value and is one of the most interesting discoveries in Saint-Émilion. This wine is delivered in its original wooden case of six bottles, ideal for long-term storage.
The nose opens with aromas of black cherries, plums, cassis, violets, graphite, cedarwood, tobacco, and subtle spices. On the palate, the wine displays an elegant structure with ripe tannins, lively acidity, and a long, refined finish in which fruit and terroir come together beautifully.
Serve at 16–18°C and decant the wine about one hour in advance. Delicious with grilled beef, lamb, veal, duck, game, and aged cheeses.
The 2017 Château Saint-Georges Côte Pavie has excellent aging potential of fifteen to twenty years and will continue to develop as it ages in the bottle.
