The 2015 Taylor Fladgate Quinta de Vargellas Vintage Port is a beautiful expression of one of Taylor's most iconic vineyards. In years with no general vintage declaration, the best grapes are selected for this single quinta bottling, resulting in a wine with finesse and character.
In the glass, this port shows a deep ruby color. The nose opens with aromas of blackcurrants, plums and violets, complemented by subtle spicy notes. On the palate, it is elegant and balanced, with ripe tannins and a long, refined finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Ideal with cheeses, desserts with chocolate or as a stylish end to a dinner party.
