The 2011 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port Double Magnum (3L) is an exceptional and rare bottle from one of the greatest vintage years ever. Due to its impressive size, this port matures considerably slower, resulting in unprecedented finesse and complexity over the years.
This port shows a deep, almost opaque ruby color. In the nose, intense aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, violets and dark chocolate, complemented by elegant spicy nuances. In the mouth powerful and perfectly structured, with refined tannins and an exceptionally long finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Ideal with blue cheese, rich chocolate desserts or as an impressive finale to a gourmet dinner or special occasion.
The 2011 is considered worldwide to be one of the greatest vintage years of the 21st century. Taylor Fladgate created a wine with tremendous depth, precision and storage potential.
