2011 Gratavinum GV5 from Priorat
A powerful and refined top-quality wine from the heart of Priorat
The 2011 Gratavinum GV5 is a characterful red wine from Priorat. Gratavinum cultivates old vines on the characteristic llicorella soils, which impart a pronounced minerality and impressive concentration. The 2011 vintage is praised for its excellent balance between ripe fruit, freshness, and structure.
A blend of Garnacha and Cariñena. Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah results in a wine with great depth, elegant tannins, and a long, mineral finish. Thanks to careful vinification and aging in French oak barrels, the wine develops beautiful complexity and excellent aging potential.
