The 1976 Quinta do Noval Colheita Port Imperial (6L) is an extremely rare large-format bottle from one exceptional vintage. Thanks to decades of aging in wooden barrels, this wine developed impressive complexity, finesse and softness. The Imperial format also allows for a slower evolution and additional storage potential.
In the glass, this port shows a deep amber color with mahogany tones. The nose is intense and refined with aromas of roasted nuts, caramel, dried figs, orange peel and subtle spices. On the palate silky and perfectly balanced, with fresh acidity and an exceptionally long finish.
Serve lightly chilled at 12-16°C. Ideal as an exclusive meditation wine or with desserts with nuts, caramel and dried fruits.
