The Niepoort 10 Year Aged Tawny Port is an elegant and balanced port that ages for an average of ten years in wooden barrels. This aging creates a beautiful harmony between freshness, sweetness and complexity, typical of Niepoort's style.
In the glass, this port shows a warm amber color. The nose is refined with aromas of toasted nuts, caramel, dried figs and orange peel. In the mouth soft and harmonious, with a nice balance between sweetness and freshness and a long, elegant finish.
Serve lightly chilled at 12-16°C. Ideal with desserts with nuts or caramel, but also perfect as a digestif.
