The 2022 Château Pichon Comtesse OWC6 (6 × 0.75L) ranks among the very best of Bordeaux. The 2022 vintage is considered one of the greatest Bordeaux vintages ever. Thanks to exceptional ripening conditions, the wine combines impressive concentration with remarkable freshness and refinement. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot results in a Pauillac with tremendous depth, silky-smooth tannins, and an exceptionally long finish.
The wine opens with intense aromas of cassis, black currants, plums, violets, graphite, cedarwood, tobacco, dark chocolate, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is powerful, refined, and perfectly balanced, with impressive concentration, lively freshness, and an exceptionally long, mineral finish.
An Original Wooden Case (OWC6) provides optimal protection for the bottles during transport and long-term storage. For investment wines such as Château Pichon Comtesse, an original wooden case also enhances their authenticity, collectible value, and appeal on the international wine market.
Serve at 16–18°C and decant the wine about two hours in advance. Delicious with entrecôte, lamb, roe deer, venison, duck, truffle dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
