The 2021 Château Pichon Comtesse OWC3 (3 × 0.75L) is an exclusive release from one of Pauillac’s most prestigious châteaux. Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is classified as a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé from 1855 and is known worldwide for its exceptional elegance, refinement, and impressive aging potential. The original wooden case containing three bottles makes this edition particularly attractive to collectors and investors.
The 2021 vintage embodies a classic Bordeaux style characterized by freshness, finesse, and expression of terroir. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot results in a wine with refined tannins, great aromatic precision, and an exceptionally long aging potential.
The nose opens with aromas of cassis, black currants, graphite, violets, cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate, and subtle spices. On the palate, the wine is elegant and harmonious, with silky-smooth tannins, lively acidity, and a long, mineral finish.
An Original Wooden Case (OWC3) guarantees the wine’s provenance and provides optimal protection during transport and storage. For top wines such as Château Pichon Comtesse, the original wooden case also increases the collectible value and appeal on the international wine market.
Serve at 16–18°C and decant the wine about two hours in advance. Delicious with entrecôte, lamb, roe deer, venison, duck, truffle dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
