The 2021 Château Pichon Comtesse OWC6 (6 × 0.75L) is an exclusive release from one of Pauillac’s most prestigious châteaux. Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is classified as a Deuxième Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification and enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide thanks to its refined style, impressive elegance, and exceptional aging potential. The original wooden case containing six bottles enhances both its authenticity and its collectible value.
The 2021 vintage embodies a classic Bordeaux style in which freshness, finesse, and expression of terroir take center stage. Thanks to a careful selection of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, a wine has been created with refined tannins, great aromatic precision, and impressive length. A wine that will age beautifully over the coming decades.
The nose opens with aromas of cassis, black currants, graphite, violets, cedarwood, tobacco, dark chocolate, and subtle spices. On the palate, the wine is elegant and harmonious, with silky-smooth tannins, lively acidity, and an exceptionally long, mineral finish.
An Original Wooden Case (OWC6) offers optimal protection during transport and long-term storage. For investment wines such as Château Pichon Comtesse, an original wooden case also enhances their appeal on the international wine market and among collectors.
Serve at 16–18°C and decant the wine about two hours in advance. Delicious with entrecôte, lamb, roe deer, venison, duck, truffle dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
The 2021 Château Pichon Comtesse has excellent aging potential of more than thirty years and will continue to develop for many years to come.
