The 2019 Château Pichon Comtesse OWC6 (6 × 0.75L) ranks among the very best of Pauillac. Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is known worldwide for its elegant style, refined structure, and exceptional aging potential. The 2019 vintage is considered one of the best in recent years in Bordeaux. Thanks to ideal weather conditions, the grapes reached perfect ripeness while retaining their freshness. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot results in a wine with deep concentration, velvety tannins, and impressive aromatic complexity.
The wine opens with aromas of cassis, black currants, plums, violets, graphite, cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is both powerful and refined, with silky-smooth tannins, lively acidity, and an exceptionally long, mineral finish.
An Original Wooden Case (OWC6) offers optimal protection during transport and long-term storage. For top wines such as Château Pichon Comtesse, an original wooden case also increases their collectible value and appeal on the international wine market.
Serve at 16–18°C and decant the wine about two hours in advance. Delicious with entrecôte, lamb, roe deer, venison, duck, truffle dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
