The 2016 Château Moulin Riche is among the finest vintages the estate has produced in recent years. Château Moulin Riche is managed by the same family as the famous Château Léoville Poyferré and benefits from the same commitment to quality and precision. As a result, this wine enjoys an excellent reputation among lovers of classic Saint-Julien.
The legendary 2016 vintage is considered one of the greatest Bordeaux vintages of recent decades. The combination of optimal ripeness, fresh acidity, and refined tannins resulted in wines with impressive balance and exceptional aging potential.
The nose opens with aromas of cassis, black currants, plums, cedar, graphite, cigar box, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is powerful yet elegant, with ripe tannins, excellent structure, and a long, refined finish.
Serve at 16–18°C. Perfect with entrecôte, lamb, game, poultry, and aged cheeses.
