The 1992 Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port is a superb example of a strong vintage year in the Douro. This port impressively combines power and finesse and develops beautifully as the years pass.
In the glass, this port shows a deep ruby color. The nose is intense and complex with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cocoa and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with firm but ripe tannins and a long, elegant finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Ideal with powerful cheeses such as Stilton, dark chocolate desserts or as an impressive end to a dinner party.
