The 1984 Cálem Vintage Port is a classic vintage port originating from the Douro Valley. Thanks to decades of bottle aging, this wine developed a refined elegance and complex aromas typical of old vintage ports.
In the glass, this port shows an evolved ruby color with amber reflections. The nose is refined with aromas of dried figs, plums, cocoa, nuts and subtle spices. On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious, with soft tannins and a long, refined finish.
Serve at 14-16°C. Ideal with chocolate desserts, soft cheeses or as an exclusive meditation wine.
Cálem is among Portugal's historic Port houses and is known for its classic style of vintage ports. Today, the 1984 vintage offers a beautiful combination of ripe fruit, elegance and refined bottle aging.
