The estate, located on the Pomerol plateau, produces a Merlot-driven style that combines round fruit with structure. The 2015 Bordeaux harvest benefited from a warm summer and favorable conditions during key stages of ripening. On the right bank, this resulted in many wines with ripe fruit and good concentration. For Gazin, 2015 is an interesting vintage to compare with 2014: the differences in weather and ripening give each vintage its own distinct character.
