In the glass, this wine displays a deep ruby-red color. The nose opens with aromas of cassis, black cherries, plums, graphite, cigar box, cedar, violets, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is powerful and perfectly balanced, with exceptionally refined tannins, impressive concentration, and a very long, complex finish.
