The 2018 Château Lagrange is among the most highly regarded wines of Saint-Julien. As a Troisième Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification, the château is known for its combination of power, structure, and refinement. The outstanding 2018 vintage produced a wine with impressive concentration and exceptional balance.
In the glass, this wine displays a deep ruby-red color. The nose opens with aromas of cassis, black currants, graphite, cedar, cigar box, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is powerful yet refined, with ripe tannins, lively freshness, and a long, elegant finish.
Serve at 16–18°C. Delicious with entrecôte, lamb, game, and aged cheeses.
Château Lagrange is one of the historic top estates of Saint-Julien. Thanks to ongoing investments and an exceptional terroir, the château produces wines renowned for their elegance, structure, and excellent aging potential. The 2018 vintage is among the strongest of the past decade.
