In the glass, this wine displays a deep, almost opaque ruby-red color. The nose is intense and complex, with aromas of cassis, black currants, plums, graphite, cigar box, cedar, tobacco, and subtle spices. On the palate, it is powerful and perfectly balanced, with exceptionally refined tannins and an impressively long finish.
Serve at 16–18°C. Excellent with entrecôte, lamb, game dishes, and refined gourmet dishes.
