The 2013 Niepoort Bioma Vinha Velha Vintage Port Jeroboam (5L) is an impressive and rare bottle sourced from old vineyards. The large size allows for a slower maturation, making the wine develop even more elegant and complex over the years.
In the glass, this port shows a deep ruby color. The nose is refined with aromas of ripe berries, plums, floral notes and subtle spices. In the mouth supple and balanced, with fresh acids, elegant tannins and a long, harmonious finish.
Serve at 16-18°C. Ideal with cheeses, desserts with chocolate or as an impressive finale to a dinner party. Perfect for large parties and special occasions.
Niepoort's Bioma Vinha Velha wines come from old, organically farmed vineyards. The 2013 vintage produced elegant and accessible vintage ports. In Jeroboam format, this wine develops exceptionally slowly, providing extra finesse, depth and a very great storage potential.
