During a port tasting, you’ll sample a carefully selected range of ports. We’ll tell you more about the Douro region, the production of port wine, the main styles of port, and the impact of barrel and bottle aging.
We’ll also compare different styles and vintages, so you can not only taste them but also gain a better understanding of how, for example, Tawny, Colheita, LBV, and Vintage Port differ from one another.
The tastings are open to both novice port enthusiasts and connoisseurs who want to deepen their knowledge. No prior experience with port is necessary.
Port2Port tastings take place in our tasting room in Aartselaar, in the Antwerp region. A tasting lasts about 2.5 hours and combines wine tasting with information about port, producers, vintages, and the Douro region.
Throughout the year, Port2Port organizes various open port tastings for which you can register individually or as a group.
A port tasting is also a unique gift for a port lover. Instead of choosing a single specific bottle, you can introduce someone to different styles and special vintages.
