Craftsmanship and Provenance - Tradition and Terroir

Wine Castle Genoels-Elderen is located in Riemst, between Tongeren and Maastricht, and covers about 22 hectares of vineyards, making it the largest wine estate in Flanders. The Chardonnay Blue 2020 underwent a 12-month "sur lies" aging, with 50% in stainless steel tanks and 50% in French oak barrels. This method adds to the complexity and depth of the wine, while maintaining its fruity character. The estate produces approximately 100,000 bottles annually and is known for its commitment to quality and innovation in Belgian winemaking.
