This Classic Port Collection of Quinta do Vesuvio bundles six bottles of vintage port from four exceptional crop years: 1992, 1994, 1999 and 2000. Each bottle tells the story of a different vintage, with its own expression of terroir, power and elegance. A perfect selection for a vertical tasting or as an exclusive gift.

The bottles were all made according to the traditional lagares method, where the grapes are foot-pressed in granite vats. Quinta do Vesuvio, located in the Douro Superior, is known as one of the most respected single estate producers in Portugal.

Tasting notes by vintage

• 2 * 1992: Dark red with garnet rim. Aromas of dried fruit, tobacco and spices. Silky smooth with long finish.
• 2 * 1994: Black-red. Very concentrated, with notes of blackcurrant, cocoa and violets.
• 1 * 1999: Ruby red. Floral and spicy, with ripe red fruits and an elegant structure.
• 1 * 2000: Dark cherry red. Rich in plums, figs and soft tannins.
