My collection
From single bottles to a unique collection
My passion regarding portwine has crossed the 30 year mark. What all started with a few bottles, has grown into a unique and exceptional collection of portwine with a very solid batch of VINTAGE-PORTS ( +/- 7000 bottles of vintage) with a large stock.
Top Italian wines: an enrichment of the collection
During previous years, a nice batch of wines has also been added to the collection. Sassicaia, Solaia, Tignanello, Masseto, Onellaia, Gaia, ... to name a few Italian ones.
French masterpieces
From rich France we can add Cht Latour, Cht le Pin, Cht Lafite Rothschild, Cht Mouton Rothschild, Cht Cheval Blanc among others to the list, as well as some top Bourgognes such as Vosne Romanée La Grande Rue, Chassagne Montrachet and finally the Champagnes, such as Salon Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, Bollinger Rosé Brut, Bollinger R.D., Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises Blanc de Noirs Brut, Taittinger Brut.
A collection that goes beyond
The list continues with Spanish wines from the Torres famillie, among others. Some more nice whiskies and cognacs close the collection.
Passion for Port
'PORT' wine, port, port wine, are all names for this unique product.
Port-vintage is not only called the king of wine, it is much more: it is the passion of the winemaker and the winery, colored by the elements of nature, with the power of the "terroir" and exalted by the intense labor and patience to brew this beverage of the gods.
An interplay of terroir, labor and patience
Patience, despite appearing simple, is one of the most difficult tests, this for the winemaker and the final contender.
Port you taste, you don't drink it
You don't drink port wine, you degustate it and enjoy the taste, the company, the surroundings, the smell in the glass, the rituals of opening yet many other elements which help determine the experience of your port at a moment when your patience comes to an end and reaches the climax, "degustation and enjoyment.
I am going to stop with these superlatives, for the sake that you should discover this for yourselves.
