Mendoza is Argentina's main wine region and one of the best-known wine producing areas in South America. Located at the foot of the Andes, Mendoza benefits from an ideal climate for growing grapes, with warm days and cool nights contributing to the development of fruity aromas and perfect acidity. The region is particularly famous for its Malbec wines, which are rich in flavors of ripe black fruits, spice and a subtle oak influence.
