Butteaux is part of the Montmains Premier Cru and is known for producing Chardonnays with structure, minerality, and an excellent ability to continue aging in the bottle.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Pico works at Domaine Pattes Loup, paying close attention to the vineyard and terroir. This 2015 vintage has now had more than ten years to develop. The result is not a simple, young Chablis, but a mature Premier Cru in which fruit, minerality, and more complex notes of aging come together.<\/p>\n<p>For Thomas Pico, Chablis is about more than just freshness. His 2015 Butteaux comes from a Premier Cru terroir that can give Chardonnay depth and structure. After years in the bottle, this is a wine to explore carefully: riper white fruit, chalky nuances, and a long finish reveal themselves step by step.
