The 2019 Las Pizarras Vi\u00f1a Alarba Garnacha is one of the most prestigious wines from Calatayud. The grapes come from very old Garnacha vines growing on distinctive slate soils, known locally as \u201cLas Pizarras.\u201d This unique soil gives the wine a pronounced minerality, refinement, and exceptional depth.<\/p>\n
The exceptional 2019 vintage produced perfectly ripe grapes with an impressive balance of ripe fruit, freshness, and structure. After aging in French oak barrels, the wine develops an elegant complexity, silky-smooth tannins, and a long, mineral finish. It ranks among the finest modern expressions of Garnacha in Spain.<\/p>\n
