Het ch\u00e2teau behoort sinds 1962 tot de familie Rothschild, die ook Ch\u00e2teau Lafite Rothschild bezit.<\/p>\n<h3>Origin and Vineyard<\/h3>\n<p>Ch\u00e2teau Duhart-Milon is een Quatri\u00e8me Grand Cru Class\u00e9 uit Pauillac en maakt deel uit van Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). De wijngaarden liggen op de linkeroever van Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon speelt een belangrijke rol in de klassieke stijl, waarin fruit, structuur en frisse zuren elkaar aanvullen.<\/p>\n<h3>The Story of the Vintage<\/h3>\n<p>Het jaar 2022 was in Bordeaux uitzonderlijk warm en droog. Ch\u00e2teau Duhart-Milon laat een geconcentreerde kant van Pauillac zien, waarin rijp donker fruit en stevige tannines samengaan met een frisse lijn.<\/p>\n<p>Het domein deelt met Lafite Rothschild een lange geschiedenis binnen dezelfde familie, maar heeft een herkenbare eigen identiteit. De grindrijke bodems van Pauillac bieden Cabernet Sauvignon goede omstandigheden om langzaam te rijpen en tegelijk zijn stevige structuur te behouden. Dat samenspel is een belangrijke reden waarom de wijnen van Duhart-Milon zich vaak mooi ontwikkelen met flesrijping.<\/p>\n<h3>Aromas and Development<\/h3>\n<p>Cassis, zwarte kers, grafiet en cederhout kunnen het karakter bepalen. De tannines ondersteunen de wijn en bieden ruimte voor verdere ontwikkeling.<\/p>\n<h3>Storage and Serving<\/h3>\n<p>Serve with lamb, roast beef, or a dish with mushrooms. Store the wine in a dark, cool place at a stable temperature. An older bottle may contain sediment. In that case, stand the bottle upright beforehand and pour carefully.
